St Edmund and St Frideswide (Greyfriars) is a Roman Catholic Church, located on Iffley Road, near the centre of Oxford. The church was established in 1911 and was - until 2008 - a Permanent Private Hall (PPH) of the University of Oxford. Following the closure of the PPH, the church continues to operate as a regular church and friary. In 2011 the church celebrated 100 years of existence with extensive renovations inside the church, including the entire church being repainted and an entirely new system of lighting being put in place. The parish priest is Brother Paul Coleman, OFM Cap.
"The second is this: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."
